Dear members, Invest Victoria (Singapore) (an investment agency under the Government of Victoria, Australia) has invited MASIS members to join them at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) conference, taking place from 25 to 28 October at Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre.
Here's a line of activities planned for the conference, with a special meet and greet session with the team from Invest Victoria!
1. Panel: Accelerate your health tech business in Victoria, 25 October, 1.30pm – 2.20pm
Hear from Australia’s leading experts led by Victoria’s lead biomedical industry body, BioMelbourne, as we discuss how you can partner the local ecosystem to undertake clinical trials and contract manufacture your solutions. Two of Victoria’s leading research organisations, CSIRO and Swinburne University of Technology, will share insights into existing innovation projects and the pipeline of talents that health tech companies from Asia can tap into. You will hear from a Singaporean startup, Oncoshot, that is working with our team to revolutionise the clinical trials activities in Australia.
2. Victoria Networking Hour, 25 October, 3.00pm – 5.00pm
Following the panel, Invest Victoria is hosting a networking session where you will get the opportunity to meet the speakers alongside 14 Victorian health services companies over refreshing ETCH Sparkling drinks and Victorian snacks!
3. Invest Victoria Booth, 25 October – 28 October
Enjoy a delicious round of Victorian plant-based coffee by First Press as you speak with the Invest Victoria team at booth number GP-41. Apart from health and medical, our investment specialists can share about opportunities in other sectors such as food and agri, artificial intelligence, clean energy, digital games, logistics and transport technology.
